LSE is typically seen as having a significantly higher reputation because of the specialties it has in areas like politics and economics. With an acceptance percentage of 6.6% as opposed to UCL's 12%, LSE is similarly more selective than UCL.
This. LSE is likely superior for undergraduate studies. In my perspective, when it comes to undergraduate education, the majority of British universities are better than any others worldwide. However, graduate school is a different story.

LSE is more well-known and will have more weight when I ultimately return to Asia, but Imperial performs better in rankings (QS/FT), and I prefer their curriculum because it feels more cutting-edge and modern, whereas LSE seems a touch stale. However, I don't really have much evidence to support this.
